 Tisu partners Empire Entertainment for Ghana Meets Naija pre-party


     Entertainment powerhouse, Empire Entertainment has announced a unique partnership with Tisu.com.gh, an online trade and discount outfit to host this year’s Ghana Meets Naija Pre-party.


   The Pre-party comes off at the Excel Lounge in Accra on June 28 and it is a prelude to the annual Ghana Meets Naija mega concert scheduled for the Accra International Conference Centre on June 29.

The show is arguably the fiercest and biggest musical clash between two of West Africa’s dreaded rivals – Ghana and Nigeria and it will see top notch artistes from both countries performing on one stage and on one night.

Empire Entertainment, organizers of the concert have promised patrons a fun-packed, adrenaline filled musical showdown between some of the biggest acts to have ever graced the African and world music stage.

Defending the Ghana flag on the night will be Samini, Edem, R2Bees, Okyeame Kwame, Double & Dr. Slim, Raquel, E.L. and D-Black while the Star Boy Wizkid, Timaya, and Burna Boy will do their best to redeem Nigeria's image.

Ghana Meets Naija

   Julian Artope and Robin Lingg, managers of Tisu.com.gh, a company with Swiss parentage - Ringier multimedia organization - told Myjoyonline.com in an interview that, they are excited to host the Ghana Meets Naija Pre-party considering the niche the show has carved for itself over the years.

   Robin explained that their business has interests in helping young entrepreneurs in Africa start up businesses, and they believe that their association with Bola Ray and Empire Entertainment will definitely be a fruitful one.

  Tisu.com.gh, Julian Artope said, has been in Ghana for the past two years and they have so far strategically positioned themselves to give Ghanaians the best discount deals on items including tickets for events.

Robin stressed that, he hopes their “businesses can connect” and give patrons of the concert the best experience ever.

Julian Artope disclosed that Tisu.com.gh will sell the Ghana Meets Naija tickets at discounted prices that is VIP tickets will be sold for GH¢185 instead of the sale price of GH¢200.

As tickets – GH¢100 and GH¢200 - for this year’s Ghana Meets Naija concert are selling hot and fast, several Ghana Black star players have pledged their support for the event.

Apart from the music stars who will rock this year’s show, an impressive list of Ghanaian international football stars will also be in attendance to light up the venue.

Names such as Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, John Boye, Derrick Boateng and John Paintsil are but a few of the names expected to be in attendance.

Asamoah Gyan, apart from his football prowess did make waves with his singing and dancing skills. He featured in Castro’s smash hit songs African Girls and Do The Dance.

Well, Asamoah Gyan is not the only musician in the Black Stars squad. Unconfirmed reports say Ghanaian defender John Boye could be performing on the night.

The defender has featured on Annanu Shaka’s Accelerator Down song which also has Castro on it. The song is currently enjoying massive rotations in Ghana and it is expect to be performed at the event.

A special edition of Drive Time on Joy will be aired live from the Excel Lounge on June 28.
