The awards ceremony that took place at the Beverly Hills Hiltonon wednesday night looked, at first glance, like any other awards ceremony: lots of celebrities (Holly Hunter, Sofia Coppola, the cast of Mad Men), a big ballroom (the Golden Globes are also held there), and some forced chuckles for the host between the handing out of awards.
