Olamide denies D’banj’s DB Records deal


There had been speculation that Olamide had joined D’banj’s DB Records.
Popular Yoruba lingo rapper, Olamide, has clarified that he has not joined D’banj’s DB Records.
The singer took to micro-blogging site, twitter to deny any deal with DB Records.
“@olamide_YBNL I own My own record label uon even know it.. I ain’t signed to Db records uon even know it. Lol #KingShit”
“@olamide_YBNL Banga lee n Baddo lee spiritually connected uon even know it.. #EndOfStory,”olamide tweeted twice to emphasise that he had not signed onto D’banj’s label.
Sources say the Kay Switch’s tweet that convinced people Olamide had joined the Koko master’s label barely meant welcome to the D’banj, Naeto C and Ikechukwu clique.
About a week ago, Kay Switch, D’banj’s brother, had tweeted: “Welcome to the family! Baddo”.
DB Records have been linked with artistes such as Davido and recently, Orezi and Olamide.
But with Olamide’s clarification, he is not signed onto DB Records.
