Samuel Eto'o Sign Contract With Chelsea

      Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Eto'o from Anzhi Makhachkala.The 32-year-old has signed a one-year contract and on finalising the transfer he said:
     
         'I am very happy to be here but also anxious because I want to get playing as soon as possible.

Former Super Eagles player, Taiye Taiwo to lose €600,000 Marseilles mansion

         Former Super Eagles player Taiye Taiwo has been indicted for tax fraud in France, new reports say.
The ex-Nigeria international star who recently joined Turkish side Bursaspor stands to lose his €600,000 mansion based in Allauch, a French commune situated east of Marseille.

 Brazil won a record third successive FIFA Confederations Cup by handing world and European champions Spain their biggest defeat in a competitive match for 18 years with a 3-0 victory at a magnificently-loud Maracana.
         Without doubt, the star of the show was Neymar, who produced a moment of magic in each of A Seleção’s five matches to help inspire his side to glory. The 21-year-old, who signed for Barcelona in the weeks before the tournament, followed in the footsteps of Adriano (2005) and Kaka (2009) by winning the adidas Golden Ball. He scored a wonderful goal in the Final, using his weaker left foot to fire home from a tight angle.

Michael Essien to announce Black Stars return after Ghana FA talks

     Ghana midfielder Michael Essien says his return to the Black Stars will not be any time soon and insists, he can only confirm his availability after a meeting with the Ghana Football Association.

The Chelsea ace who spent the second half of this season on loan to Real Madrid, asked to be excused from international duties to concentrate on his club after returning from a six-month injury layoff in 2011.

Suarez Is Not For Sale, Liverpool Insists


SUAREZ
LIVERPOOL has insisted want-away striker Luis Suarez is not for sale after the player announced his desire to leave Anfield this summer.
Suarez confirmed his ambition to leave the club on Thursday, stating the effect of the English press on his public image and family life as the main reasons for wanting a transfer.
The Uruguay international publicly announced his intention to leave the club despite the continued stance he is not for sale, with Liverpool reiterating its desire to keep its leading striker.

He’s done it again! Terry sheds his suit and dons full kit to lift trophy for second year running

After the Champions League final last year, John Terry became an internet laughing stock after getting changed into his kit immediately after the penalty shoot-out to collect the trophy.
But it seems that the laughter directed at the former England captain hasn't stopped him from doing it all over again, because Chelsea's resident captain, leader and legend shed his three-piece suit the moment Branislav Ivanovic's header hit the back of the net.
For the duration of the match, Terry had been dressed - as were the rest of the non-playing Chelsea roster - like a snooker player about to hit the pub after losing a big match.

Emenike’s “sweet” return turned sour after he suffered a knee injury on Sunday and will now be out for at least two months.

Russell Westbrook tears meniscus in right knee, will have surgery, no return timetable set




               Russell Westbrook needs knee surgery. 
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook will undergo surgery in the coming days to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, the team announced Friday. No timetable has yet been set for his return to the court.
